Don’t Hack My Chant, Man: Soul Based Healing

We all have a chant, a mantra, words we live by – a statement that fills our lives with purpose.

Some of those chants are sacred and oh so personal. Those are the ones that are not meant to be shared with others – not because they wouldn’t understand but because those chants need context and a frame of reference. That context may be unique and that frame of reference may be unique to you.

Only you can decide when and if you share your chant.

My chant, my mantra, my mission is not one of those. I know I must not only share and spread my chant but I also must live it.

I found my chant (or it found me, not really sure which) in a room with a towering, wood lined ceiling in the jungle of Peru during a ceremony led by an 80 year old Shaman. Yep, pretty dramatic and honestly, this message might have come in some more subtle form along the way. However, I got my message in a form that I would never forget, nor discount, so there was no leaving it behind as part of the experience.

I as I lay on the floor staring up, engulfed in the shaman’s song as it filled every inch of this massive room, I felt a shift and I got this, loudly and clearly:

In peace, in service, in gratitude, in love.

That’s how to hold the balance: In peace, in service, in gratitude, in love.

These are the words that will surround the space and keep everyone in it protected and moving in a guided direction: In peace, in service, in gratitude, in love.

These words set the intention and helped balance the energy as they became the foundation and support beam for the powerful healing washing over us all: In peace, in service, in gratitude, in love. In peace, in service, in gratitude, in love.

I felt the emotions from every corner of the room as I repeated: In peace, in service, in gratitude, in love.

I found my focus and my heart in these words: In peace, in service, in gratitude, in love.

I will continue to live: In peace, in service, in gratitude, in love.

What words guide your way?
